MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE MAGIC

Julia
I have never had everything handed to me. I have always had to persevere with all things in life like education and friendships. But I have always had a better connection with animals than I did humans, getting my first pet guineapig when when I was 8. When I was 11 I was diagnosed with Dyspraxia and went to high school knowing I was slightly different. All through high school I begged and begged for a puppy. Finally when I was 16 my parents gave in and thats where the next member of the team gets welcomed!
Dizzy
Dizzy came into my life at 16 years old after extensive research into breeds. We decided on Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.

Dizzy came to me originally as a pet at 8 weeks old, but was always destined for agility, as I had already fallen in love with the sport through a good friend of mine. Dizzy and I trained and competed in the sport all the way through college whilst I did my BTEC in Animal Management.

Then life took a downturn for me and Dizzy's calling in life would change to become my assistance dog. From then on Dizzy became my life line and my independence. In 2019 I got diagnosed with Autism. Since then we have been to University together and came out with a degree in Clinical Canine Behaviour and Training and I couldn't have managed this without her.
Now at 9 years old Dizzy knows she has done her job and done it well and is ready to pass on her job to the latest member of the team

Lyra-Mae
Lyra is also a Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retriever. She is a bundle of fun and has brought the "talking toller" into our lives.

She has bundles of energy and character. She has taken to training like a duck to water. She has gradutated from puppy school and is slowly dipping her paws into hoopers and now agility. Her training for her big role as my assistance dog is well underway but it is all at her pace.

I can't wait to see where our adventures will take us next!
